Joe Grimm
Journalism Professor at Michigan State University; Recruiting and Development Editor at Detroit Free Press
Joe Grimm has been visiting editor in residence at the School of Journalism at Michigan State University since 2008. Prior to that, he worked for more than 25 years at the Detroit Free Press, mostly as recruiting and staff development editor. At Michigan State, he teaches reporting, editing and career branding. His students have also produced a series of more than a dozen guides to greater cultural competence. They include “100 Questions About East Asian Cultures,” “100 Questions and Answers About Indian Americans” and “100 Questions and Answers About Immigrants to the U.S.”
