Inaugural Annual Signature Event

Community Conversations:
Emerging Careers

On November 10, 2018, the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) Detroit Chapter will convene its Community Conversations event in the heart of Detroit. With focus on disruptive changes and attendant Emerging Careers, NAAAP presents an interactive panel discussion with highly accomplished and dynamic speakers.

The Inaugural Community Conversations: Emerging Careers is the premier public event in our young history. Join us for an interactive panel discussion focusing on the why, how and what of the most in-demand careers and the skills required to be successful. We will have insightful leaders from various sectors leading the discussion. The audience’s participation will offer a more in-depth conversation, providing you with valuable information to assist in your own career journeys.

In this third year of existence as a Chapter, we are grateful and thrilled to launch this outward-facing program to engage the Greater Detroit Community. This Community Conversation, which we hope to build as our annual signature event, demonstrates our maturing as an organization by delivering on the third component of our mission – Community Engagement and Service – having laid a solid foundation in Professional Development and Career Networking.

This NOT-TO-BE-MISSED event is enthusiastically and generously supported by leading sponsor companies: Quicken Loans, General Motors, Slalom Consulting, Chrysan, ACRO Services, and BDO Seidman. This premier program is also a great celebration and networking event. With hundreds of professionals and business executives in attendance, the NAAAP Community Conversations: Emerging Careers is a wonderful opportunity for professionals and employers to get acquainted.
