The 2016 Detroit Chapter Inaugural Gala is the first official public event to the greater Detroit Metropolitan area, where we will officially announce the establishment of National Association of Asian America Professionals Detroit Chapter. The Inaugural Gala also serves as a formal welcoming to usher in the new Members of the Detroit Chapter’s officers and board of directors.Join the Chapter as we recognize the leadership roles of the new members of the board; who will serve for the next years working to improve the relations of NAAAP and the community. The Gala also commemorates the dedication of outgoing board members, and support them for their continuing service to the NAAAP and the community. In addition to a celebration, the Gala is a great networking event. With hundreds of the professionals and top business executives in attendance, the Inaugural Gala is a wonderful opportunity to gain exposure for your business.

INAUGURAL GALA Marks a Defining Moment for NAAAP Detroit
INAUGURAL GALA on October 28, 2016: The National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) celebrated the establishment of its Detroit Chapter with an Inaugural Gala held at the Edward Village Hotel and Convention Center, which drew a capacity crowd of nearly 400 attendees.NAAAP Detroit was warmly embraced and supported enthusiastically by a wide range of members, guests, friends, and dignitaries in attendance, including NAAAP National delegation, as well as with congratulatory letters of support from Governor Snyder and Consulate Generals from a number of Asian countries. The generous financial sponsorship support from General Motors, Edward Village Hotel & Convention Center, ACRO Services, Chrysan Industries Inc., Mobis North America, and numerous business and institutions were instrumental to making this Gala event possible. NAAAP Detroit expressed its gratitude to the many generous supporters and the very talented all-volunteer team of NAAAP members who contributed their time, talent and treasure to serve and bring this program to the Detroit community.
