A native Michigander, Lindsey Corbett completed her B.A. in Chinese Art History & Asian Studies at Kenyon College in 2014. Her undergraduate experience laid the groundwork for continued Mandarin language education in both Beijing and in Taipei, a pursuit intended to support advanced research into folkloric painting during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Instead, her academic interest in the interface between text and image precipitated Lindsey’s skill in marketing and communications; most recently, she directed marketing strategy for New Zealand’s largest yoga and wellness company. Now back in the United States, Lindsey is honored to collaborate with NAAAP Detroit and work in solidarity with the Asian American business community. When she’s not drafting communications for NAAAP Detroit, you might find Lindsey at her day job, working alongside other progressives building capacity toward the 2020 general election campaign.
