Sadek Rahman is a Mechanical Engineer and a Manager at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA). Born in Bangladesh, Sadek received his engineering degrees from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). After his graduation from BUET, he spent 3 years lecturing at the university. He enjoyed playing cricket recreationally during his time at BUET.
Sadek came to the United State to attended Texas Tech University for his MS degree. Go Red Raiders! Additionally, He earned his MBA in Finance from Wayne State University.
Currently, Sadek serves on the City of Troy’s Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals. Other leadership roles Sadek has held include: the current Vice President of Asians Connected Together (FCA’s Business Resource Group for Asian employees) and the Michigan Chapter President of the American Association of Bangladeshi Engineers and Architects (AABEA).
Sadek enjoys mentoring young engineering professionals for their career development. He actively organizes many career development and networking events in the greater Detroit area. In his free time, Sadek enjoys reading books and playing table tennis.
