About NAAAP Detroit

The National Association of Asian American Professionals – Detroit (NAAAP Detroit) is a volunteer-driven, non-profit organization represented by a group spanning diverse ethnicities, educational backgrounds, and professional expertises across various industries. As an inclusive organization of immigrants, citizens, Asian Americans, and allies, NAAAP Detroit broadly supports gender and ethnic diversity in the workplace. 

Guided by this foundational principle of inclusion, NAAAP Detroit endeavors to cultivate and empower leaders within the Asian American community in Southeast Michigan through its programming, events, and various initiatives, such as: 

    • Sponsoring programming and events that support learning and growth for professional advancement and personal development
    • Developing professional networking opportunities 
    • Partnering with corporations to support their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives and increased Asian representation
