LEARN & GROW Series: 2018 Session IV

Emerging Careers: First Steps
A Framework for Finding Your Career Path

How does someone step into an “emerging career”?

This session focuses on the steps you will need to take to stay relevant as careers emerge and disappear, whether that means transforming your current position, obtaining a new position in your current company, or helping to create a position new to the entire industry. In this session, you will learn ways to evaluate opportunities available to you in your current position, and ways to seek out new opportunities for careers that may not yet exist. In this working session, you will be asked to think through your own career path and make a plan for advancement.
