Lori Chen is a Vice President, Private Client Advisor at JPMorgan. She holds Series 7 & 66, and completed Certified Financial Planner program. She is fluent in Mandarin, and conversant with 3 Chinese dialects.
Lori Co-founded National Association of Asian American Professionals Philadelphia Chapter in 2004 (NAAAP Philadelphia), now the largest Asian Professional Organization in Philadelphia. She plays an instrumental role since the inaugural of the chapter and serves as President from 2010 to 2014. Currently, she serves as Board of Director of NAAAP Philadelphia & NAAAP New York.
Lori has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Marketing from DeSales University and a Master’s of Business Administration Degree in Marketing from La Salle University. Prior to relocating to New York City, she devotes tremendous amount of energy to non-profit organizations in the Greater Philadelphia area. She is on the Advisory Board of the Asian American Women’s Coalition, promoting the advancement of Asian American women through leadership and mutual support. In addition, she is on the Asian advisory committee of the American Cancer Society (PA Division Southeast Region), and a member of the Community Advisory Council at Fox Chase Cancer Center. Lastly, she co-founded Asian Mosaic Fund Giving Circle in 2010, a diverse group of multi-generational donors committed to advancing the well-beings of the Greater Philadelphia Asian Community.
Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Lori moved to the US in 1995. She travels frequently between the US and Taiwan to spend time with family and friends. Lori’s hobbies include playing a variety of sports such as volleyball, Pilates, archery, swimming, and working out at the gym. She also enjoys reading, dining out, traveling, and simply spending quality time with loved ones.
