INAUGURAL ANNUAL MEETING: “Career and Business Opportunities for APA Professionals”
DETROIT, MI – The National Association of Asian American Professional Detroit Chapter (NAAAP Detroit) has made it official: The organization will be holding the Inaugural Annual Meeting on Friday, December 1st from 6pm to 9pm, at the Vista Tech Center of Schoolcraft College, 18600 Haggerty Road, Livonia, MI 48152.
NAAAP has become the largest and fastest growing professional Asian & Pacific Islanders (API) association with the guidance and support of a generation of Asian American leaders, community partners, and corporate sponsors. The NAAAP Detroit Chapter, founded in 2016, aims to cultivate and empower Asian American leaders in the Greater Detroit area through professional development, community service, and networking.
The NAAAP Detroit Chapter Inaugural Annual Meeting is the premier public event in the Detroit Metropolitan area. The Annual Meeting is looking to rally members, introduce organizational structure and change, and set the organization’s mission and objective. The Annual Meeting serves as a cultural catalyst for NAAAP Detroit. The NAAAP Detroit team created the Annual Meeting with results that can be felt throughout the rest of the year. It also serves as a formal welcoming to guide the new members of the Chapter’s officers and board of directors.
The NAAAP Detroit Chapter is also pleased to announce our prestigious keynote speaker for the Inaugural Annual Meeting: Peter Bhatia, the Editor and Vice President from the Detroit Free Press. Peter Bhatia is a multiple Pulitzer Prize-winning editor who has led several large news organizations across the country. Be with us when Peter Bhatia shares his perspectives on the theme “Career and Business Opportunities for APA Professionals” at the NAAAP Detroit Inaugural Annual Meeting on December 1st.
