Community Outreach Program: Meet up and Eat up Lunch program at Douglass Branch Detroit Public Library
DETROIT, MI – The National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) Detroit Chapter is expanding the Community Outreach Program to participate in the Meet up and Eat up Lunch program at Douglass Branch Detroit Public Library. This event will take place on Tuesday, July 30th from 1pm to 2pm, at the Detroit Public Library – Douglass Branch for Specialized Services, 3666 Grand River Ave., Detroit, MI 48208.
All children ages 18 and under are welcome to enjoy a healthy lunch provided by Samaritan Homes and the United Way in partnership with the Michigan Department of Education and continue to learn about South Korea through handheld sogo drums craft project, celebrate dance, and received free water bottle by National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) Detroit Chapter. Admission is free and refreshments will be served. Free NAAAP Detroit Polo Shirt for the first 5 volunteers!
NAAAP Detroit’s events provide an excellent opportunity to hone professional and leadership skills, as well as meet professionals and employers in the Greater Detroit area. Through our umbrella of national organizations, NAAAP.org, our members connect with the broader Asian American professional network throughout North American via national leadership gatherings and interaction with the 33 Chapters.
